FREE Internet Access

The Manhattan North Project is focused upon the “digital forgotten”, the Black and Brown low-income residents for whom the only “affordable” Internet is FREE Internet; those families living at or below the poverty line, many unemployed, struggling to pay the rent, medical expenses and keep the kids fed.

FREE Y-Fi

The Project currently provides FREE Y-Fi, in collaboration with The Smart Community Initiative, over its Community Network to three (3) developments in the Manhattan North District.

The Manhattan North District

The Project is expanding its Community Network throughout the Manhattan North District to enable The Smart Community Initiative to provide service to over 50,000 residents in 40 developments.


What FREE Access Enables

FREE Internet enables access to digital platforms and trusted content that we create and control.  It gives us a voice and a way to connect with each other; and it enables free access to educational, healthcare and emergency preparedness and communications resources.
